the most important feature for the Internet

Google seems to be one of the most frequent words in my blog. This morning after the routine work checking the news on the Internet, one article of the famous blogger attracted me, which is about the comparison between the google and the nova of the Internet Myspace which achieves the largest accessing times in the whole American. Though its prosperous achievement even surpass accessing times of google, however some of the analysis attribute it to the robust system but the simple and crude page layout, and the others to the explanation to the bad effect on the adolescence. One of the people said, 'Explanations for the phenomenal growth in traffic, page views per session, membership explosion and brandshare have been attributed to everything from the ugly design to the music industry affiliations to the youthful need for freedom of expression and the fact that Tom is everyone's friend. Kids want to have sex and Myspace delivers which is the reason of the success of Myspace.'

Let's retrospect to the process of the development of the Internet. For less than 10 years, after the first Internet Café came into the society, the social networking website, the Internet game and the mass data of music and movie caters primarily to the teenage and the young adult demographics. The result is almost the youth can get what ever they want just from the Internet. I remember I have written and article about the bad effects of the Internet, about two girls imitate the Myspace to plunder a man. The adolescence seems engaging to seek for the identity through the rebellion against authority, making trouble and all kinds of strange behavior. And another significant character is the curiosity about sex. All these need are satisfied by the Myspace, providing the community with millions of members of the desired age, gender and the same character, the easy and free access of the personal information and details, even available anonymity if desired. All such gives the facility to gain the goal. Even the majority of the ads on Myspace are geared around sex.

However, from the other side of it, it also provides the easiest way to communicate. People share the pictures, the news and the ideas with friends and siblings. It is just a scrapbook, communication tool or a bulletin board. I am always agreeing the technology is of neutralization. The technology declines the entry to the Internet, and supplies the convenient method for communication and acquiring information. Even those amorous ads are from the motivation from people. Though the company may have the ability to hinder these incidents, we can not blame these to the Internet itself, neither the company who is trying to promote benefit to public not these amorous ads. Maybe it is the responsibility of the government to generate more strict regulation to prevent these incidents to breed the freer but safer environment for the beneficiaries of the Internet.

Then for the most important feature of the Internet should not be the guarantee of the content but the concentration and arrangement of the useful information and the access to such data. I remember one people said, the Internet should not only funny but useful; not only the time-killer but also the helper; not only for consuming but also for the creation. But all these features should base on one another one the freedom under certain constrain, then it can vivify.
